Committee

The mission of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Athletic Committee is to promote and assist the athletic programs and student athletes of Immaculate Heart of Mary School.

Immaculate Heart of Mary athletics adheres to the Parochial League Guidelines "that the academic and religious development of the student is of primary importance at all times. The privilege of athletic participation may be earned only through satisfactory levels of achievement in academic and self-discipline or he or she will become ineligible for athletic participation until a satisfactory achievement level is attained."

This volunteer committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Immaculate Heart of Mary School Board, establishing and periodically reviewing the philosophy, goals and objectives of IHM athletics. The committee, upon approval by the School Board, had oversight responsibility for program funding, budgets, program management and athletic awards of the school. The IHM Booster club is a sub-committee whose purpose is to organize and implement fundraising opportunities for the athletic program.

Committee Meetings

The IHM Athletic Committee meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:30pm in the school cafeteria. Anyone having ideas/concerns for the committee is welcome to attend. Please contact the Athletic Director by the Tuesday prior to the meeting to be placed on the agenda.
